The Holy Island Marathon is an annual trail marathon held on the Scottish-English border. Runners start in the small town of Lower Burnmouth, Scotland and cross into Northumberland, through the historic town of Berwick upon Tweed and along the Northumberland coastline. The race then crosses over the Pilgrims Causeway onto the island of Lindisfarne. This unique course will provide a memorable challenge for runners of all abilities.

The race is now in its 8th year and is hosted by Queenstown Runners. With a friendly small field and well-organised event, runners will be sure to enjoy the unique experience of the Holy Island Marathon. So come join us in 2024 for a tough, yet rewarding challenge.
